How can we help?

Qira Studio develops mobile, desktop and web apps and games: PDF Reader, Chess & Checkers (Board Duo), Dominoes, Kids English, Qira DOCX and the Qira Games card collection. You can find all of them on qirastudio.com and qiragames.com.

Email support@qirastudio.com or use the contact form on this site. Please include the app name, device model, OS version and a short description of the problem, with a screenshot if you can.

Each app lists its minimum requirements on its Google Play, App Store or download page. If an app does not install or run on your device, tell us the device model and OS version and we will check.

Our apps can be installed for free. Some contain ads, and some offer optional in-app purchases or a paid upgrade - the store page of each app shows this under the install button.

Payments are handled by Google Play or the Apple App Store, so refunds are decided by them. On Google Play open Order history and choose Request a refund; on iPhone go to reportaproblem.apple.com. If something went wrong with a purchase inside our app, write to us and we will help.

First use Restore purchases in the app (usually in Settings or the shop screen) while signed in with the same store account you paid with. Check your internet connection and update the app. If it still does not unlock, send us the order number from your receipt email.

Subscriptions are managed in the store, not in our app. Google Play: Menu > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions. iPhone/iPad: Settings > your name > Subscriptions. Cancel at least a day before renewal.

Where an app offers an ad-free option, it is a purchase inside the app (Settings or the shop screen). If you do not see it, update the app to the latest version or write to us with the app name.

Update the app and your system, restart the device and make sure there is some free storage. If it still crashes, uninstall and install again (back up your files first if the app stores them locally). Then send us the device model, OS version and what you were doing when it crashed.

Progress is stored on your device, so uninstalling the app or clearing its data can remove it. Do not clear app data. If you changed phones, progress does not move automatically unless the app shows a cloud/sync option. Tell us the app name and what happened and we will look into it.

Close other apps, restart the device and keep at least a few hundred MB free. Turn off battery saver while playing. If it is slow only in one place, tell us where and your device model.

Check the device volume and silent mode, then the sound setting inside the app. Disconnect Bluetooth speakers that may be taking the audio. Restart the app if the problem remains.

Tell us your device model and screen settings (large font, display size, notch or foldable). Send a screenshot - layout bugs on specific phones are fixed in the next update.

Large, scanned or password-protected files can take longer. Enter the password when asked and wait a moment. If a file will not open at all, it may be damaged - try opening it in another viewer, and send us the file size and the source (without sending private content).

Qira DOCX opens and edits .docx files on your computer and in the browser at docx.qirastudio.com. Complex layouts, rare fonts and special objects can look slightly different from Word. Send us a sample file without private content and we will improve the import.

Our card, domino and chess games can be played without an internet connection. Chess & Checkers (Board Duo) has a mode for two players on one device. Features such as leaderboards or cloud sync need internet.

Kids English is made for children learning English. We keep it free of unsuitable content. Parents manage purchases in the store, and you can turn on purchase protection in Google Play or Screen Time on iPhone.

Documents you open in our apps are processed on your device or in your browser. Apps with ads use an advertising service that may use an advertising ID. Details are in the privacy policy of each app, linked on its store page.

On Android open Settings > Google > Ads and turn off personalization or reset your advertising ID. On iPhone go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. You will still see ads, but they will not be tailored to you.

Most of our apps keep data only on your device, so uninstalling the app removes it. If you want us to delete anything we hold about you, email support@qirastudio.com from the address you used and describe the request.
